About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Generalist to join our team in Mexico. This is a 100% on-site position based in Polanco, responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and offboarding ensuring compliance with labor regulations and alignment with company culture.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Country Manager and will have a career path to become HR Manager after a successful 6-month probation period.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for administrative, operational, and managerial roles (job posting, interviews, hiring, and onboarding).
Coordinate new hire documentation.
Oversee onboarding and induction programs to ensure smooth integration and retention.
Employee Relations & HR Operations
Manage employee records, attendance, leaves, vacations, and other labor-related incidents (e.g., medical leaves, permits).
Handle disciplinary actions and administrative procedures in compliance with the companys internal regulations and Mexican labor law.
Organize internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and company events.
Training camp; Development
Design and manage the annual training plan according to business needs.
Oversee compliance with the SIRCE portal and training reporting obligations.
Performance, Engagement & Compliance
Coordinate employee surveys (leadership, satisfaction, eNPS, climate) and prepare executive reports for decision-making.
Implement and monitor compliance with NOM-035-STPS-2018.
Solid knowledge of the LFT and IMSS regulations.
Reporting & HR Strategy
Generate regular HR reports and KPIs for the Country Manager and Regional HR Lead.
Support strategic HR initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar position.
Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law, IMSS procedures, and NOM-035-STPS-2018.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Advanced English (spoken and written).
Availability to work 100% on-site in Polanco.
