We are looking for aData Engineerto join our team in Monterrey, preferably workinghybrid (12 days in office),this role focuses on database migrations, so we are looking for a professional with proven experience in similar projects, skilled in tools such asSnowflake, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and relational databases likeSQL Server.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute database migrations, ensuring smooth transitions while minimizing downtime.
• Design efficient and scalable solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Assess and select the most suitable technologies for migration projects.
• Analyze existing databases, identifying optimization opportunities and resolving performance issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Build secure and scalable data architectures with a focus on confidentiality and integrity.
• Document technical processes and best practices to support both the team and end-users.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing proactive solutions to avoid bottlenecks.
• Manage implementation projects, including creating work plans, drafting technical proposals, and coordinating follow-up meetings with clients and teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as aData Engineer(mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience indatabase migration projects.
• Strong expertise inSnowflake, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL Server.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data architectures.

Preferred Certifications

• Snowflake certifications.

Additional Skills

• Experience withNoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such asGit.
• Strong communication skills inEnglish, both written and spoken.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
